Are you moving your number from another network to Three this Christmas? Great decision, we’re delighted to have you! Let’s take a look and what you need to start the move as well as the dates and times when you can put through your request.
What do I need?
When putting in your request to Keep Your Number you’ll need:
- Your temporary Three number which you’ll find on your new SIM card
- The number you want to move to Three
- Access to that number so you can retrieve a verification text
- Your account number from your previous network
- If your previous account has one (single-line) or more (multi-line) numbers
Once you have that info to hand, you’re good to go.
Please note: Multi-lines are where you have more than one number on an account, this includes “bundles” from other providers. Even if you are moving just one number, it is viewed as a multiline. This type of port can take 24 hours during normal porting hours. Where there are no ports on the following day, it may take longer.
Example:
- A multi-line port submitted on the 21st will be live on our network on the 22nd.
- A multi-line port submitted on the 23rd will be live on our network on the 28th.
When should I do it?
