We’ve all been there; we’ve dropped our precious phones and heard that cracking sound that almost breaks your heart. Or we’ve woken up to a phone that’s suddenly stopped working and restoring it to factory settings has had no effect. Read on to find out how Three can help you get back the phone you know and love.


Back-up your device

Before looking at having your phone repaired the MOST important thing to do is backing up all your phone data. This means you won’t run the risk of losing any of those all-important photos or contacts. Cloud services like iCloud or backing up to your Google account will do the trick. Try connecting your phone to your PC or laptop using a USB cable if you can’t switch it on to complete to back up. Also, if you have an iPhone, remember to switch off Find My iPhone before sending your phone for repair.


Head to your nearest Three store

If your phone isn’t insured pop along to your nearest Three store, once you’ve backed up your info, and our friendly staff will be happy to send your phone to our Repairs partner, Fonfix where their certified engineers will assess and diagnose your phone within 10 working days. Wherever possible, we’ll try to provide you with a loan phone if there’s one available. A €100 deposit will be required which will be refunded to you upon return of the phone.


Tracking your repair

It’s very easy to track the status of your repair, pop over to this page and enter your IMEI, serial number or customer reference number which will be provided to you when you book in your phone in store.


How much will my repair cost?

This depends on if your phone is within the manufacturers' guarantee or not. Take a look below to see the various manufacturers' guarantee periods.


12 months

If your phone is outside the manufacturers' guarantee or there is damage caused by water or physical damage then our repair partner Fonfix will contact you with a quote for the repair. If you’re happy to proceed with the quote you can make payment to Fonfix and your phone will be repaired and returned to you. If not, your phone will be returned without any work being carried out.
