Thanks @Brogan, I just called Zamano, and explained the situation.

Apparently you subscribe to these services by a single tap on the add banners on mobile website.

In my case I believe it was an add banner on the accuweather.com mobile site.

 

I explained to the Zamano guy that I had not deliberately requested to subscribe to this, in fact my phone did it while in my pocket.

 

Zamano said they wll refund me by posting a cheque.

Ah thats great news..well not really. This has been happening for years. Three know all about it but still let it happen. 

If people don`t notice that they have been charged then Zamano and Three profit from it, and if people do notice and complain, they may get a refund if they go to a load of trouble.

 

This has to stop. Stop cheating customers like this!

December 2018 and this is still happening. It's infuriating and I will be cancelling my contract
