I have noticed a number of ads in the papers in recent weeks, from various companies setting out changes to their terms and conditions to take account of the GDPR which comes into effect on the 25th of May.

What, if anything is Three going to do regarding this?

@Anonymous thanks for getting in touch and yes there have been lots of ads in the papers about GDPR.  You'll be happy to know that Three has always had a strong culture of Data Protection compliance. We have dedicated Data Protection team in our Legal & Regulatory Department, and all our staff receive regular Data Protection training. We've been planning for GDPR for over a year now and everything is on track.

Does this mean that there will be no changes to the way one's personal data, that is in Three's possession, will he handled?

Our Terms & Conditions for consumers do not require to be updated for GDPR However, Three is committed to transparency in its data processing, and will be updating its publicly available Privacy and Data Protection policies before the 25th of May.
