i use my samsung j5 phone mobile hotspot to connect to samsung smart tv and sky q box.
The apps on tv (netflix,prime video) load and stream no problem. The difficulty is with sky On Demand ,Catch Up tv etc. (which my subscription covers).
On Demand download is slow progress,a few % at a time ,then freezes. I go to manage recordings in settings to pause queue for a minute then resume queue,this operation resumes download for another little bit.

Check that the adult content filter is removed on your account and
Try changing the DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 on your router
Must be a smart tv? anyway thats good to know !
