Turn voicemail back on

Hello. I turned off voicemail, by typing ##002#, but I changed my mind and went to turn it back on, by typing ##21#, but unfortunately voicemail hasn’t turned back on.

Any suggestions?

When I typed in ##21# I got a load of messages.

They were all in the following format:

“Setting Erasure Succeeded
Xxxxxxxx
On All Calls”

The xxxxxxxx line was different in each, they were;

Voice call forwarding
Data call forwarding
Fax call forwarding
SMS call forwarding
Sync data call forwarding
Async data call forwarding
Packet access call forwarding
Pad access call forwarding.

When I ring 171 from my phone I get:

“Welcome to your voicemail. You don’t have any new messages. Main menu.”

When I ring straight through, ie 086 5 1234567 I get this:

“Please enter the phone number of the person whom you want to message for.”

So I did that and I get “that number is not listed”

@Dalk Hhhmmmmm that's strange! Let's try a couple more shortcodes. Try **21* first, if there's no luck with that then try **004*. Let me know how it goes 👍

Tried both. But no joy

I also tried **004* but it just rang, so I tried ##004#

And I got the list as above, but the third line was saying

@Dalk Ok, let's keep going. Next thing I want you to try is **004*08X5XXXXXXX# filling in your own number where the X's are (just make sure to pop in the 5 after the 083/086/087 etc. Let me know how that one goes for you 👌

Did as suggested.

The following came up.

“Setting Registration succeeded
Xxxxxxxx
all conditional calls”.

I think it might be an issue on your end, I rang the phone and let it ring out and it diverted me to voicemail, but I got the “please enter the number of the person whom you want to leave a message for.”
When I put in the number it says “that number is not listed”.

I tried it with airplane mode one and same result and also I tried dialling 086 5 1234567 and same result.

Has it possibly been turned off on your end?
