What is Phishing?

What is Phishing?

Phishing is when someone pretends to be from Three or another company and asks for your account details.

They usually say that your account has been compromised and they need you to confirm your details.

They may also say they have a special offer and ask you to log in to receive this.

Once you log in or provide your details they will steal your login details and access your account.

To prevent your details from being stolen, never give your three.ie username, password, or date of birth to anyone via email.

If you click a link in an email which asks you to log in, make sure the website address begins with www.three.ie.

If you are unsure if a message came from Three, send us a message by clicking Messaging from the App menu and we can confirm if the message is real.

It's always better to check!
