Make Calls or Send Texts & MMS 


Make a call


  • Dial the phone number.
  • Press the Send button.

You can also enter part of a contact's name. Highlight the required contact and press the Send key.


Send a text message


  • Select Messages.
  • Press the menu key and select Compose SMS.
  • In the To field enter a number or contact name.
  • Type your message.
  • Press the menu key and select Send.

To send a picture message press the menu key and select Attach Picture before selecting Send. 


Add my Email Settings


Contact the Forum for help with adding email to your phone. 

Unable To Access The Internet


Make sure GPRS or EDGE is in capital letters at the top of the screen. If not, remove the battery from the phone for 30 seconds. Replace the battery and restart the phone.

If GPRS or EDGE are still in lower case register on the network:

  • Go to Options. On some phone Options is found under Settings.
  • Select Advanced Options.
  • Select Host Routing Table.
  • Press the Menu button and select Register Now. 

If there is still no Internet access try your SIM in another phone.


If you can access Internet in another phone contact the Three Forum for help.


If you can't access the Internet with your SIM in another phone try getting a free SIM replacement from any Three Store. 


Pair a Bluetooth Device 


  • Switch the Bluetooth device on.
  • Select Menu.
  • Select Manage Connections
  • Select the Bluetooth check box.
  • Select Bluetooth Connections.
  • Select Add New Device.
  • Choose a Device Name and select OK.
  • Select Search to see all nearby Bluetooth devices.
  • Select the name of your device and enter the passkey, if required.
  • Select Yes. 

 Connect to a WiFi Hotspot 


  • Select Menu.
  • Select Manage Connections.
  • Select Set Up Wi-Fi.
  • Select the name of the network you want to connect to.
  • Enter the password if required.  

If you get an error message make sure you have entered the password correctly.

You should also check that the network is open to public use. 


Unlock Phone  


Click here to request the unlock code.


Once you have received the code you will be able to unlock your phone.


You should remove the sim card from your phone before unlocking it.

  • Turn on your mobile phone.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Go to Options.
  • Go to Advanced Options.
  • Go to Sim Card.
  • Type MEPD using your BlackBerry ® keyboard (You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing).
  • Type MEP2 (MEP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2) (You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing).
  • You will then be prompted to enter your unlock code.
  • Enter your code and then press trackball to confirm.

Turn off your phone and turn it back on again - your phone is now unlocked.
