Make Calls or Send Texts & MMS

 

To make a call:

 

  • Tap the Phone icon.
  • Dial a number and tap the green call icon.

To dial a contact tap the Contacts tab and select a contact call.

 

To send a text or MMS:

 

  • Tap the Message icon.
  • Tap the new message icon on the bottom left..
  • Tap Enter name or number and enter a contact's name or type a number manually.
  • Tap Type text message and enter your message.
  • When you're done tap Send
To send a picture message tap the attachment icon before tapping Send. Tap Picture to select a picture to attach to the text.

Add my Email Settings

 

  • Tap Email.
  • Select your account provider.
  • Enter your email address and password.
  • Tap Next.
  • Your phone will automatically detect your email settings. 

If you get an error message make sure you have entered your email address and password correctly.

 

If you're still getting an error you can try adding your email manually: 

 

  • Tap Email.
  • Select Others.
  • Enter your email address and password.
  • Tap Manual setup.
  • Select POP from the Protocol dropdown.
  • Enter your email username.
  • Enter the Incoming email below POP server. This is the Incoming Mail Server for your email provider. 
  • Select None from Security type.
  • Enter 110 below Port.
  • Untick Login required.
  • Enter the Outgoing mail server below SMTP server. This is the Outgoing Mail Server for your Internet provider.
  • Select None from Security type.
  • Enter 25 below Port.
  • Enter a name for the account and then your own name.
  • Tap Finish

Pair a Bluetooth device

 

  • Open the App Menu and tap All.
  • Tap WIRELESS & NETWORKS then Bluetooth.
  • The phone will automatically search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Tap the one you want to connect to.

Connect to a Wifi Hotspot

 

Before you can connect to a WiFi network, you first need to turn WiFi on.

 

  • Open the App Menu and tap All.
  • Under WIRELESS & NETWORKS tap the Wi-Fi switch to turn Wi-Fi on.
  • Tap WIRELESS & NETWORKS then Wi-Fi.
  • The phone will search for available networks.
  • Tap the network you want to connect to.
  • You may be asked to enter a password which you can get from the WiFi provider.

If you get an error message make sure you have entered the password correctly.

You should also check that the network is open to public use. 

 

Unlock Phone 

 

Click here to request the unlock code.

 

Once you have received the code you will be able to unlock your phone.

 

  • Enter a SIM card from another network in to the phone.
  • Enter the PIN for the SIM Card if you are asked.
  • You will be prompted to enter the unlock code.
  • Enter the unlock code and restart the phone to complete the unlock process.
