Make Calls or Send Texts & MMS 

 

Make a call

 

  • Tap Phone.
  • Tap Keypad and enter a phone number.
  • Tap the call icon to start the call.

You can also select a stored number by tapping Contacts. Find the person you want to call and swipe right to call them.

 

Send a text

 

  • Tap the Messages.
  • Tap the compose message icon.
  • Add a number or tap the contacts icon to select a stored number.
  • Tap the text box and enter your message.
  • Tap the send message icon when yoiu are done.

You can turn your text in to a picture message by pressing the attachment icon before tapping Send Message.

 

Add my Email Settings

 

  • Go to Apps.
  • Select Email.
  • Enter your email address and password.
  • Tap Next.
  • Your phone will automatically detect your email settings.
  • Enter a name for the account.
  • Enter the name to appear on outgoing emails.
  • Tap Done

If you get an error message make sure you have entered your email address and password correctly.

 

If you're still getting an error you can try adding your email manually: 

 

  • Tap Email.
  • Tap Menu and then Accounts.
  • Tap Menu and then Add Account.
  • Enter your email address and password. Tap Next.
  • Select POP3 Account.
  • Enter your email username.
  • Enter the Incoming email server. This is the Incoming Mail Server for your email provider. 
  • Enter 110 beside Port.
  • Select None under Security Type. Tap Next.
  • Enter the Outgoing mail server. This is the Outgoing Mail Server for your Internet provider.
  • Enter 25 below Port.
  • Select None under Security Type.
  • Untick Require sign-in. Tap Next
  • Set the email retrieval frequency.
  • Enter a name for the account and then your own name.
  • Tap Done

If you're having issues accessing the Internet it's good to check that your settings are correct.   

 

These are usually found under:

 

  • Settings
  • Connections
  • Mobile networks
  • Access Point Names

 

Pair a Bluetooth Device 

 

  • Turn Bluetooth device on.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap Bluetooth.
  • Drag the Bluetooth switch to the right to turn it on.
  • Tap Scan.
  • The phone will search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Tap the one you want to connect to.
  • Tap Accept. 

Connect to a WiFi Hotspot 

 

  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap WiFi.
  • Drag the WiFi switch to the the right to turn it on.
  • The phone will automatically search for available WiFi networks.
  • Tap the network you want to connect to. You may be asked for a password which you can get from the network provider.

If you get an error message make sure you have entered the password correctly.

You should also check that the network is open to public use.    

 

Unlock Phone 

 

Click here to request the unlock code.

 

Once we receive your unlock code we will send it to you by text or email.

 

You can then follow the steps below to complete the unlock process.

 

  • Turn the phone off.
  • Insert a SIM card from a different network.
  • Turn your phone on.
  • If asked, enter the PIN number of the SIM card.
  • The phone should then ask for an unlocking code. 
  • Enter the code we sent to you.
If you enter the code and get an error message:
 
  • Check that you have entered the code correctly. 
  • Make sure you are following the instructions exactly.
