Bought New Phone

I bought a new phone last weekend had to re-register with 3, the phone arrived but with a new number and sim card, something that I didn't want I've had the same number for years. Can this be sorted out as I would need a nano sim for the phone number otherwise it is 250 euro's down the drain.
