Three selling data to Irish government

Read this morning that three are harvesting private location data in relation to "covid compliance" and selling it to the Irish government. It's anonymous (naturally) and all for the better good (why else). Anyone else have concerns on this matter? Curious to see what comreg have to say. I do not consent to my data being sold in this manner, anonymous, agrgated or otherwise. Disturbing direction for three to be taking.

@GG1313 Hi there, Three does not provide any customers' personal data. Media reports today may have misled customers to believe differently so, to confirm, the data provided is completely anonymous.

If you dont want to be included, on your account you probably need to clear your location history and dont consent for your location history to be used.
