Unlock IPhone - Bill Pay Customer but bought a PrePay Phone

Hi all,

 

I am a long time Sim Only Customer on Bill Pay. My old phone had broke so bought a new prepaid phone on Three to replace it.

 

I usually buy a sim when travelling to save on roaming costs, but I realised this IPhone is locked to Three.

 

I have been told by Customer Care that I need to top up by 100 euro on the prepaid Sim to unlock, but there is no point doing this as I have an ongoing Billpay contract for years. 

Is there any way to link the phone IMEI to my Billpay account instead of the Dummy Prepaid account so that I don’t have to pay money for a service that I don’t need?
