Make Calls or Send Texts & MMS 

 

To make a call, tap Phone. Dial in the number you want to call and press the call icon. You can also select a contact that opening the Contacts app.

 

To send texts or MMS:

  • Tap the menu icon and select Messages
  • Tap the compose icon at the bottom. 
  • To enter contacts, you can:
    • enter a phone number in the Enter recipients field. If you want to add more than one number, tap Enter after each number
    • enter the first few letters of the contact you want and tap on the correct name or number that appears
    • tap the icon next to the Enter recipients field and select the number you want.
  • Tap Enter message and type your message
  • Tap Send
If you want to send a picture message follow this process but tap the attachment button to select the picture you want to attach. 

 

Add my Email Settings

 

  • Go to Apps.
  • Select Email.
  • Enter your email address and password.
  • Tap Next.
  • Your phone will automatically detect your email settings.
  • Enter a name for the account.
  • Enter the name to appear on outgoing emails.
  • Tap Done

If you get an error message make sure you have entered your email address and password correctly.

 

If you're still getting an error you can try adding your email manually: 

 

  • Tap Email.
  • Tap Menu and then Accounts.
  • Tap Menu and then Add Account.
  • Enter your email address and password. Tap Next.
  • Select POP3 Account.
  • Enter your email username.
  • Enter the Incoming email server. This is the Incoming Mail Server for your email provider. 
  • Enter 110 beside Port.
  • Select None under Security Type. Tap Next.
  • Enter the Outgoing mail server. This is the Outgoing Mail Server for your Internet provider.
  • Enter 25 below Port.
  • Select None under Security Type.
  • Untick Require sign-in. Tap Next
  • Set the email retrieval frequency.
  • Enter a name for the account and then your own name.
  • Tap Done

If you're having issues accessing the Internet it's good to check that your settings are correct.  

 

These are usually found under:

 

  • Settings
  • Mobile networks
  • Access Point Names

 

Pair a Bluetooth Device 

 

  • Turn Bluetooth device on.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap Bluetooth.
  • Tap Bluetooth to turn it on.
  • The phone will automatically search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Tap the one you want to connect to.
  • Tap Accept. 

Connect to a WiFi Hotspot 

 

  • Tap Menu.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap WiFi.
  • Tap the checkbox beside WiFi.
  • The phone will automatically search for available networks.
  • Tap the network you want to connect to. You may be asked for a password which you can get from the WiFi provider.
If you get an error message make sure you have entered the password correctly.

You should also check that the network is open to public use.  

Unlock Phone

You can then follow the steps below to complete the unlock process.

 

  • Turn the phone off.
  • Insert a SIM card from a different network.
  • Turn your phone on.
  • If asked, enter the PIN number of the SIM card.
  • The phone should then ask for an unlocking code. 
  • Enter the code we sent to you.
If you enter the code and get an error message:
 
  • Check that you have entered the code correctly. 
  • Make sure you are following the instructions exactly.
