We’re entering the next phase of our eSIM journey with the introduction of On Device Activation (ODA) which makes the eSIM activation process faster, easier, and more seamless🥳
What is ODA?
Well, it’s a modern method that allows new customers and existing customers who are adding a new line to their account to activate their eSIM directly from their device settings, no QR code, no emails or additional help needed. And all they need to do is select eSIM when purchasing the new connection. Once the new phone is connected to the internet, the device will securely download and install the eSIM automatically.
Benefits of using ODA
No QR Code: with ODA, there is no need to wait to receive a QR code or enter your details manually. Activation happens automatically.
Instant Setup: Activation happens as part of your phone set up.
