We’re excited to announce the launch of On Device Transfer (ODT) — a new feature that makes it easier than ever for Android eSIM users to transfer their eSIM from one phone to another. No more QR codes, no email links, and no need to contact Customer Care. With ODT, you’re in full control.

Currently, ODT is available for select Android devices, and we’ve made it simple for you to check if your phone supports it. Don’t worry — iOS users, we haven’t forgotten about you! Support for iPhones will be rolling out in the coming months.

Why do you need ODT

Are you planning to upgrade or change your phone but already use an eSIM? ODT allows you to transfer your eSIM quickly and easily from your old device to your new one—all by yourself.

No waiting for QR codes or emails & no support calls. Just a quick and easy switch.

Before You Begin: What You Need

Here’s a quick checklist to make sure you’re ready for the transfer:

Check eSIM Compatibility
Make sure your new phone supports eSIM. You can check this under Settings > SIM Manager or Connections and look for an option to Add eSIM.

Back Up Your Data
While your eSIM transfer won’t affect your data, it’s always smart to back up your contacts, messages, and photos just in case.

Reliable Internet Connection
Ensure both your old and new phones are connected to a stable internet connection — WiFi or mobile data is fine.

Keep Both Phones Handy
You’ll need both devices nearby during the transfer.
