OnePlus 8T not receiving phone calls sometimes

Hi there

I bought a OnePlus 8T sim free from OnePlus last year. I switched from a company plan with 3 to a personal sim free plan in Jan. Since then people have been telling me that they are calling me, but I cannot see any missed calls from them.  Thats not that Im not receiving calls. I do receive some calls however its worrying the amount of people saying they can get through to me.

There are no missed calls registered on the phone

Im not sure if this is connected to the phone or the network change. I have read the issue might be related to VoLTe and the fact that the OnePlus phones do not officially support this feature. I downloanded a tool to enable VoLTe on the phone but im still missing calls

So i dont know if this is an issue with the network or the phone

@Darby Good morning 👋 Couple of questions for you - have you noticed if you miss the calls in one specific area or is it all areas? Have you tried your SIM in another phone to see if it's specific to your OnePlus? How old is your SIM card? A free SIM card can be ordered over here if you've had yours a long time! Let me know!

Hi there, I feel it was a happening in a few different areas but they were all based around the same town as I didnt get to go very far. Yes I had the sim in my previous OnePlus 5 and never experienced the issue until I switched to the newer OnePlus which has 5G. My sim card is probably 4 or 5 years old at this stage. Not sure if that is old enough that I should order a new one? Phone seems to still be working fine now without having the 5G on. Havent gotten any old missed calls or messages lately
