OK to use generic charger with Moto G 3rd Gen?

This phone has just arrived from your online shop.

I knew it wouldn't include a charger, but couldn't find one in the Three online shop (or reach a physical Three shop), I bought a micro-USB charger from a Vodafone shop.  They didn't stock Motorola, but said it's a standard European charger.  It's a Micro USB Mains Charger made by Juice.

I noticed Three UK sell things by Juice, but just wanted to double-check it's OK before I charge up my nice new phone?

Community Mailer asked me if I got the answer I needed - the answer is 'I think so'.

I couldn't find any charger on the web specifically for that phone, or any info about it from Motorola, so just had to take a chance and try the Juice one.  It charged up the phone ok, without any complaint or obvious damage so far.  I can't vouch for anything longer-term yet, until I can get further with the phone than that initial charge.

(I hasten to add the holdup's Not caused by any fault with the phone or other hardware; it's just due to some confusion in another forum topic, and I'm very much looking forward to using the phone!)

Hi Chrysanth, most android phones uses a universal charger. You can double check this with Motorola  to see if the charger is ok to use with the phone. Thanks, Linda.
