I'm currently using a pixel 8 and have been in Poland for about a week. Roaming is turned on and I was successfully getting spotty connections (my location was somewhat remote) for data just fine and using my phone as a hotspot for kids tablets without real issue.
Since this morning I'm only getting an edge data connection despite multiple phone reboots, internet resets, and switching to a 4G network.
Wondering if there's anything else I can check or any other checks that could be done to see if my account is set up for roaming properly as I'm now back in an urban setting and shouldn't have any problem getting a strong 4G or even 5G data connection
Just confirming that my wife is also having the same problem on the three network. Manually forcing a connection to some other service provider here rather than the automatically selected one does seem to alleviate the problem.
Does three have a preferred partner Will using somebody else incur costs
Hi @James_M452, thanks for reaching out to us here on 3Community. No, we don't have a preferred partner, but I would say that just like in Ireland network strength can vary, so if you're travelling around the countr,y you may need to manually select your network as you go.
