Buying a phone for a billpay customer

I am looking to buy a phone for my brother for his birthday. He is an existing 3 billpay customer and has not upgraded his phone in a 3-4 years. I am about to purchase an IPhone through Apple for him but I am wondering is it ok for him to just pop in his existing bill pay simcard and continue his bill pay plan as normal with the new phone.

@sarah3costello Hello there and wow what a lovely gift to give your brother 😃 He can indeed pop in his SIM and continue as normal. Remind him that if he has phone insurance then he'll need to look into changing that 👍
