Lift broadband data limits

Lift broadband data limits

In the day and age when we use broadband more than ever, it would be nice if Three Ireland followed suit of Three UK and removed the limit on broadband packages.

I know 750 GB/1000 GB (business) a month may seem like a lot, but it's really not, when you consider that single PS5 game can be as much as 150 GB download, all the system updates that are massive for each and every device around the house (smart phones, tablets, computers etc).

In fact, just a single run of Speedtest.net may clock up 500 MB of data in one go on a fast 5G connection.

Thank you

Hi @Daniel_06653, I can confirm that these changes only apply to our consumer plans and don't affect business plans.

Thank you @Three_Stacey , that's a dissapointing approach, I'm curious what is the reasoning behind it.  Either way, is there any indication that business limit maybe lifted as well before the end of current grace-period in January 2023?

Thank you,

Dan

@Daniel_06653 it was a business decision to only remove the data limits for the consumer plan. As of now, we don't have plans to remove the limits from Business plans but never say never, this may be something that will be considered in the future.

A load of dribble and consumer inflation again.
can you tell me if an e-sim add on it in the pipeline yet or still just a distant target
