Porting Number to three sim

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can advise how long it takes to port number? I wanted to keep my old number and transfer it to the temporary three number given. I set the time and date for 8am on the 25th April and was wondering what signs to look out for? As in, signal dropping etc?

Hi there @ThreeShauna92  welcome to 3Community.

Port a number normally takes up to 2 hours, and you'll receive a text to notify you when it has gone through. However, sometimes you can notice that you've lost signal on your old sim this means that it has started and it's time to pop in the Three sim card.

I went to three store to port my number today (from Lyca) and it took around 30 minutes for my number to be fully ported and functional on three card.
