Recently Three added the Samsung A12 to our already fantastic catalog. It’s the latest budget-friendly phone, coming in at €169.99 on Prepay so perfect for anyone looking for a nice spec phone with a reasonable price tag. Your moderators got their hands on one to test and report back to our 3Community members. Here’s what we found……
How does it look?
The 6.5” edge to edge display is ideal as there’s no extra casing making the phone larger still. You still get your large screen but without a bulky phone. The smooth texture and grip make the phone very comfortable to hold too. Coming in classic black, you can’t go wrong.
The HD+ Infinity-O display makes for some quality graphics when watching movies or programmes or even gaming on your phone!
How’s the camera?
The all-important camera features do not disappoint! The A12 has an impressive quad rear camera setup with a 48MP main shooter along with 5MP ultra-wide angle, a 2MP macro and 2MP depth field camera.
On top of this, you’ve got an 8MP front facing camera with Selfie Focus so your selfies will look amazing! Strike a pose!
What’s on the inside?
The Galaxy A12 comes with Android 10 straight from the box. The octa-core processor makes opening apps quick and smooth and for storage, you’re given 64GB internally and that’s expandable up to 1TB with a Micro SD card. Win-win.
How’s the battery life?
For a budget phone, I was surprised to hear that it has a huge 5,000 mAh battery along with a 15W fast charging function so that when you do run low it’s super quick to charge again.
