Receiving OTP/ 2 factor authentication while abroad

Hi there, I've spoken to live chat about receiving authentication messages while abroad and they've told me its free and I don't have to do anything.

The previous 2 times I was abroad I was not able to receive OTP for social media, the bank, PayPal etc and it was a nightmare.

How can I ensure that it will work this time when it hasn't previously?

So the agent is correct they are free and you don't need to do anything, but since you had difficulties in the past I've reached out to our technical team to double-check if there's anything that needs to be done before you travel. Please let me know where you were when you experienced difficulty and what phone are you using.

Hi Stacey, I was in Lebanon for half of last year and couldn't receive any OTP's for the duration aside from 1 or 2 which were weirdly sporadic. And in India for a month where I was unable to receive any OTP's at all. I'll be going for a few months this time again so I don't want to be locked out of everything and unable to contact the bank.

I'm using an Iphone13 standard.

Hi Stacey, so as I thought I'm abroad now and unable to receive my OTP's to login to my store and cannot process customer orders. Really not sure what to do about it

There was an hour delay but then I received all the codes together. Crisis averted! 🙂 Thanks

Worth noting that I'm receiving them as they send now also. No delays
