The following self-serve options are available via SMS:
Check Balance Services
- Prepay users who want to know their current credit balance: Text BALANCE to 50272
- Bill Pay users who want to know the current balance of their Unbilled Spend: Text BALANCE to 50272
Top Up Services
- Prepay user who has already registered a credit/debit card, and wants to top up their own account: Text “TOPUP <Amount> <Last 4 digit of registered card>” to 50406
- Prepay user who has already registered a card and assigned friends, and wants to top up a friend: Text “TOPUP <Friend Nickname> <Amount> <Last 4 digit of registered card>” to 50406
Add-On Services
Please note: All add-ons are charged to your account, so Bill Pay customers will see these charges appear on their next bill, and Prepay customers will see the value deducted from their credit balance.
Any customer seeking to purchase an add-on, and wants to see a list of compatible add-ons:
- See what Text Add-Ons are available to you: Text ‘Add Text’ to 50272
- See what Voice Add-Ons are available to you: Text ‘Add Voice’ to 50272
- See what Data Add-Ons are available to you: Text ‘Add Data’ to 50272
These keywords will return a list of add-ons that you can purchase, along with additional keyword instructions for each add-on so you can proceed with the individual transaction that best suits your need.
Any customer seeking to remove an add-on, and wants to see a list of any add-ons that are already on their account:

Roaming services
To start or stop receiving roaming alert messages for Voice + Text prices when you travel abroad:

To stop receiving roaming alert messages for Data prices when you travel abroad:
- Text ‘DataWelcome Stop’ to 50232
To limit how much you spend on data while abroad, you can apply a data cap:
- To apply the default data cap amount €50 (excluding VAT): Text ‘Getcap’ to 50232
- To apply a custom data cap amount (where value = XX): Text ‘Getcap XX’ to 50232
- To remove the data cap for this month only: Text ‘Remcap’ to 50232
- To remove the data cap every month: Text ‘Permcap’ to 50232
To check your Roaming Data Allowances:
- Text 'View FreeData' to 50272
Credit Me Service
Credit Me lets you send a free message to another Three customer to ask them to top you up:
- Text ‘CreditMe 08xxxxxxxx’ to 50100
Call Me Service
Any customer who wishes to receive a call back from another Three customer can use the Call Me service.
- Text "CallMe 08xxxxxxxx" to 50100
Other options:
- Text "Plus" to 51020 to register for Three+
- Text "NoPlus" to 51020 to opt out of Three+
- Text "Extra" to 50407 to sign up for 3Extra and receive offers on behalf of our partners based on your phone's location and usage
- Text "Stop" to 50407 to opt out of the 3Extra messages
