With the recent surge in the use of AI, and the stories that have been coming out, we may soon be seeing the Rise of the Machines (see what I did there 😉). But for now, let’s enjoy AI and our newest App Review; AI Playlist Maker: PlaylistAI.
The app was created to make music and artist discovery easier. Filling the gap between self-created and recommended playlists, the app offers a number of ways to create a playlist on Apple Music or Spotify. I’ve used the app myself for a little bit to see how it feels and I have got to say, I’m quite enjoying it.
For me, it takes out some of the manual work of creating new playlists. My one nit-pick about the app is that the AI can sometimes overshoot the mark when suggesting songs, but hey, that’s part of the fun, and sometimes the suggested songs end up staying in the playlist because I like them!
One of the features that I haven’t tried out yet is the image upload. How it works is that you upload a picture of a festival lineup, and the AI will then make you a playlist from the artists listed in the lineup.
