Huawei E173 modem unlock problem

Hello there,

i recently asked for unlock code for my Huawei E173 USB modem stick. I received it from Three, but i am unable to unlock it. I saved "Three Broadband UnLock .exe" app on my desktop exactly by instruction on website, but it keep saying "Data Card Not Found" all the time. My modem is plugged in correctly and light is on, i have acces to internet. I tried to restart my computer few times, but no succes. I am running Windows Vista on my PC.  What should i do, or what am i doing wrong ?

Hi,

Can you use a non network sim in the device, connect it to your PC and it should then prompt for the unlock code.
