huawei mobile modem unlock

Hi , trying to unlock O2 huawei mobile broadband modem, following instructions but its not working for me.

I have the unlock code, I put a non O2 brand sim in the device, entered http://192.168.1.1 in the internet browser, but when  I try to log in with the username and admin as the password, its tells me wrong username or password entered. Contacted customer care, confirmed username but it still does not work.

Question: the screen looking for the username and password (http://192.168.1.1) has vodafone logo on it?

My modem is O2, and it is a three simcard that I entered, should it be an O2logo on that page?

It should be O2, that is the correct link.

What Modem are you using?

Hi Lisa, its a huawei E5332 which was purchased from o2, with an o2 sim

which is locked to o2 network.

Can you try this:

Go to www.three.ie/broadband-unlock and save Broadband Unlock to your Desktop
Plug the modem in to the computer.
Double click on the Broadband Unlock icon on the Desktop.
You will be prompted to enter your unlock code.
Enter the unlock code.
The display will say Unlock Successful.

Hi Lisa, thanks ever so much ! that worked!

I had been trying at home to use this link, but forgot to turn off our home

broadband router, so that was blocking me from unlocking my mobile router.
