Changing my SIM PIN

Hi.

I currently don't have a SIM PIN set.
I do not know the default PIN that cam with the SIM.
How can I set a new PIN without knowing the default?
I have my PUK number if that helps.

Hi @Add_25646 and welcome to 3Community 😊

The default sim pin on our sim cards is 0000. Give this a try and keep in mind if you enter a wrong pin 3 times the phone will automatically ask you for your PUK code.  After you enter the PUK you'll be prompted to select a new sim pin.

Do you have access to your PUK code? If you don't have it to hand you can get it by calling 1913 or contacting our messaging team here .

If you have your PUK code @Claire_51011  try once more to enter your sim pin, and then you will be asked for the PUK.

Once you enter your PUK you will be directed to enter in a sim pin (this is a brand new pin one you make up). If you don't have access to your PUK I would recommend that you contact 1913 or our messaging team before attempting the final try.
