Activating Roaming Add-on

I've bought a 7-day roaming add-on on my bill-pay account. I didn't get any confirmation e-mail and when I ask to see my add-ons it says there are no active add-ons. It does show the payment in my recent transactions. Does the add-on take a while to appear or do I needto activate it?

Welcome to 3Community @Gnomon42. That's very strange, since you posted, have you been able to see confirmation of the add-on in your My3 account? Does it appear in either 'Allowances' or 'My Add-ons'?

 

I'd be happy to review your account and confirm that the add-on has applied to your account for you, I'll just need you to pop me a PM with your name, number, full address and date of birth. 

 

Thanks Stacey. Yes it has now appeared under allowances although the Add-ons section still says I have no active add-ons.

 

It appears to be working but I got a text from Three on saying I have exceeded my €75 per month quota (I don't have such a quota) and that my account has been suspended until my next bill (which seems also to be not true). I'd suspect this as phishing except that it doesn't ask me to go to a link, just to contact customer support.

@Gnomon42, the €75 would be what's called a credit limit. Credit limits are placed on all bill pay accounts to ensure that customers don't overspend without being alerted. As you haven't spent this much and your account is still active, it may have been sent in error. However, so that we can be sure, please send me a PM with your name, number, full address, and date of birth, and I'll look over your account.
