Can't access to voicemail from abroad

I followed your instructions such as:

Listening to Voicemail when Roaming

• Dial your mobile number with a 5 after the prefix from a landline or another mobile to access your Voicemail. Remember to use the +353 prefix when dialling from abroad. For example, if your number is 086 1234567 you would dial +353 86 51234567. You'll then be asked for your voicemail PIN. 

First of all I'd like to ask, why can I not access to my voicemail from my mobile phone and instead I have to use another mobile phone or a landline? That's quite inconvenient.

I tried to call the number from a line that I could use, I hear my voice saying to leave a message, but I'm not asked for a pin.

I've actually resolved the issue by myself 😀

I see it's not possible to remove messages, so I am replying to myself in here. Perhaps somebody else might need the same now or later.

First, I see I can actually access to voicemail from my mobile phone.

Secondly, I can interrupt the greeting with * then enter the pin and *.

It worked 👍
