Family discounts no longer available for new/upgrading lines

Can you please confirm that the Family plan discounts have now been discounted for new or upgrading (to new plan) lines?

If so, why wasn't this ever communicated out to existing customers? And its extremely disappointing.

Vodafone have a €5 per plan (although much more limited) that can purchased for family members. Are there any plans to introduce something similar again on Three?
