Roaming not working

Hi - I traveled to Lisbon last week and even though 4G was displayed on my phone, at no stage could I use data, even though I had enabled data roaming. This was hugely inconvenient. I will be traveling abroad to Europe later in the summer and I want to know why my data did not work, and what can and will be done to rectify the issue ASAP. Thank you.

Hi @Add_16753 sorry to hear you had difficulties while in Lisbon. I'd love to help you with this but I need a little more information.

 

For example were you able to use your other services, calls or texts? When trying to connect to your data did you get an error? While roaming did your phone automatically pick up the network or did you select it? Can you remember what network you were on? And did you try connecting on more than one network?

I could call and use SMS.

When I tried to open an internet page I got an error message.

Automatically. I also tried selecting a network manually. All failed.

Can you remember what network you were on?
Vodafone and NOS
