Scam call ?

Hi I just received a call from someone claiming to work for 3 she offered me a new deal but I was a bit wary so ended up hanging up could you confirm if it was a scam or do 3 generally ring and offer deals over the phone?

@Ash3 Hi Ash, we do have a team that calls our customers about new offers that may be of interest to our customers. Can I get the number that called you & I'll double-check if it was a member of the team that called you.
