I received a text message this morning from 3 to say that my direct debit was due. I can understand why some people would want that notification, but I don't. There's no apparent way to suppress it.
I could go to ComReg and complain about the introduction of unsolicited sms messages (it's not critical to the maintenance of my account) but if 3 provided notification as an option, I wouldn't have to.
