Changing phone number on exisitng network

Ive got a strange problem, 

Today Ive smashed my iphone and Im thinking of getting a note 9 off contract and moving to GOMO, but me and my mother switched phones and in essence I have her contract phone but my contract number, and she also has three contract. This has caused a strange circumstance since I want to cancel my contract, and switch my number to GOMO. But Im wondering because my mothers contract is going to expire first, and Im trying to figure out If my mother could transfer her number to my contract.

Also is there an easier way to have it cancel as soon as possible and have my mother still using her number, or would it be best to pop in a three store and explain the problem there and get it sorted.

@Bytes Hi there 👋 It is a strange query alright. I need to look at both the numbers to be able to help you. Either way, one thing I'll say is that if you get another phone on contract and move network, there will be a "cancel of contract" fee. I'll keep an eye out for your PM 👍
