It shouldn't be so difficult to cancel a Data add-on

Extremely annoyed to find that I was charged another €10 for a data add-on that I spent almost an hour trying to cancel two weeks ago. I that that I had eventually figured out that the cancelation had been adding to my "shopping basket", and that I had to "complete the transaction" to remove the data add-on. But apparently, you have to do that twice to actually make it stick!!!!

Cancelling a data add-on should be just as easy as acquiring it in the 1st place, and if you use the 10NET short code to add a data add-on, you should be provided with an equivalent short-code to cancel that, rather than having to jump through undocumented hoops on the website to turn it off again.

@EastN Hi there, sorry to hear you were having difficulties removing the add-on. Removing any add-on via the app or website follows the same flow as if you were adding an add-on in that you select the add-on you want to add/remove, it's then added to the basket for you to confirm pricing & once confirmed the add-on is removed/added. 

If you tried to remove the add-on previously & it didn't take effect when you first requested it I can check on it for you. If you PM me your number along with your full name, address, & date of birth for the validation of your account I'll look into it.

@EastN Hi there, I've looked into this further for you to check on our shortcode messages & we do have shortcodes for adding/removing them. Click here to see the list.

When you for example text 'ADD DATA' a text message will be sent back with a list of data add-ons available for you. If you have more than one data add-on active at a time & text 'REM DATA' you'll be shown what add-ons you have active & how to remove a specific add-on.

This was a great idea & since we already have it implemented I'm going to move the status of your idea to 'Delivered'.

@Add_11031 Hi there, we don't have a code for insurance removal. if you wish to remove insurance you'll need to speak with an agent. You can speak with our messaging team here or you can PM me your number, name, address, & date of birth to get it removed. 

You'll need to increase your rank to send PMs. You can increase your rank by commenting on posts, creating new posts, kudos or liking comments. Once you rank up you'll get a message to notify you & you'll need to log out & back into the Community & you'll be able to PM directly.
