Broadband simcard

Hi,

I just re-newed my Three Broadband contract and I was offered an upgraded 4G router (Huawei - B535-232a) Happy days! 🙂

So that I can recieve the best possible connection, I was thinking to also order a replacement sim card for the router as I have the current sim card for around 5 years.

If I order a replacement sim card online with three, will they know that the sim card is for a 4G broadband modem/router? Is there any difference between a simcard that you would put into a mobile phone than a sim card that is for a 4G router? Is there a special "broadband sim" so to speak.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, @Anthonyb90 good thinking on the sim card. Phone and broadband sim cards aren't physically different but they're provisioned differently.

But you don't need to worry about this because when you order a sim online here you'll first be asked to put in the mobile number (broadband number) this enables our team to make sure that the correct sim card is sent out to you.
