Any date for 3 to turn off 3G network in Ireland?

Just reading this.

I see a few operators around the world are switching off their old 3g networks. 

So wondering if 3 will be doing the same?

@billbond4 That's an interesting article. I would imagine in the future with the improvement of 4G & now 5G ongoing 3G would go the way of the 2G signal. Currently, we don't have any plans to remove the 3G but if this changes any time in the future we'll be sure to let everyone know well in advance.
