Hello,
I recently called home to Hungary and after a few minutes my already happened conversation being played back to me. The call on the receiving end is dropped and what they said until that point is being played back to the side that initiated the call. It is very freaky hearing the person i called repeating the same conversation back, so you hang up after a while when realizing it is the same conversation that happened a few minutes back. Then you ring back few minutes on same happens. Happened three times then i gave up.
You have a dirty provider somewhere who stretches the calls with this fraud probably sells you a cheap international connection for a reason.
Please identify the culprit as it is annoying and expensive and will cost you customers.
call happened. on the 18 June 11:46, 11:50, 11:54
Phone numbers can be provided privately.
Cheers. Lenard
Hi @Add_92095 welcome to 3Community.
This is a strange one, but I'd be happy to look into it for you. Since posting here have you reached out to Customer Care about this?
Has this continued to happen? Does it only happen on calls to Hungary? Did it happen on calls to one specific number or all numbers you called?
Hi,
I did not reach out to customer care would not think they can do too much about it individually, so I just wanted a larger public sample size to see if it happens with others as well different countries ect., hence this forum community post.
I only call one specific number in Hungary, haven't called them since it happened.
Afterwards I talked to one of my Hungarian friend who told me it happened to him as well when he called Hungary. I can not tell you now what number or network he called and uses. Have to get more info on that if required.
Now if it only would have been a few seconds of loop in the conversation I would put it down to some buffer feedback loop, bad connection or something but it was the full blown conversation from a minute before thought my dad is having a stroke or something or my phone is being tapped by an amateur, surreal experience.
I wonder if 3 always works with the same partners to build an international call or it depends, satellites involved or VoIP connection?
Anyways just wanted it out here to see if I'm alone, if it happens again I be sure to update this.
Cheers Lenard.
