Hi
I have a three modem B535-333 this has a phone socket and I can plug
up an analogue phone and receive voice calls to my 083 modem number on it .
I have the bill pay broadband plan . I wonder has anybody used a prepay
top up to make outgoing voice calls on analogue phone socket ?
I know I can setup a VOIP router and have done this with a seperate provider
giving me a new number . But I want to save money on powering another router
and paying another provider for a VOIP number .
I only need to use this as a medical alert number . In the event of an emergency
pressing a keyfob autodials out to a pre programmed number on the VOIP router line .
@Add_16192 Welcome to 3Community 😊Our broadband SIMs are only provisioned for data use. If you were to put a prepay SIM into the broadband device it would only be able to use the mobile data service, the reason for this is that our routers aren't enabled for VOIP and it's not something we currently offer to our customers.
