Three emptied my account, stole €21, left me with 1 cent!

Just had my pocket picked by this criminal company for the second time: -€21.65 “credit adjustment”! Leaving me with one cent in my account! I am a carer for my two elderly parents (mam 90 & dad 85). Not only do they steal all the money in my account, they threaten (I have the transcript) to discontinue my number, and further to refuse to let me have the old one back even if I pay the €10 they demand for keeping it. This is the third time they have either stolen money, or threatened to do so. The last time they forced me to pay the €10 so as not to lose use of the phone [which I only have for emergencies and almost never use – this is their problem with me, I don’t make them enough profit] and the time before that after taking the money they gave it back when I complained. This time they took it surreptitiously, without even informing me by text that they were about to empty my account. I only found out two weeks later when I made a call thinking I had about €25, and found I had nothing! If you are thinking about signing up with these people DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM, FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER. You give them money to provide a service and then they take it without doing so: robbery – or they threaten to withhold the service if you don’t give them more money: blackmail – a form of protection racket. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

And I've been a customer of Three & its predecessors since I first had a mobile, at least 25 years. This is what you get for loyalty!

Hey @Gareth_50119, thanks for contacting us here on the Community.

That's not what we like to hear but I'd love to check the account for you so I can find out more about this credit adjustment. Pop through to us here on PM along with your mobile number, full name address and date of birth so I can check this on the account for you.

We also have a handy article called All About: Keeping your Prepay Number Active where you can find out more about the process of a Prepay number being discontinued and how to stop a number from becoming inactive.
