Hi all, I've been trying to send an internaitonal webtext to a mobile number in the EU, but I continually get a failed to be sent message. I cannot understand why. I put the number in the format 0048 xxx xxx xxx. The number of characters is 61. Would anyone have any advice? Thanks, J
Hi there, @jtimoney_08576. I'd love to investigate this for you. I'll just need a little info. Have you been able to contact this number before? If you were, when did you last contact the number successfully? Also, can you please PM me with your name, number, full address, and date of birth so that I can review your account? I'll also need the number you're trying to send a web text to and when you last tried.
I am having a similar problem.
I have a contact saved as +40 XXX XXX XXX
When I send the webtext, Three tries to send it to +353 XXX XXX XXX, completely ignoring the country prefix.
How can I send a webtext to an international number if Three automatically replace international prefices with the Irish one??
I'd be happy to look into this for you @Matthew_16686. So that I can start investigating, please PM me with your name, number, full address, date of birth and the number that you've been trying to send a webtext to and the time & date of your last attempt. Once I have these, I'll be able to review your account.
Also, when did you first notice this happening, and have you tried to delete the contact and re-add it? Is the same thing happening to any of your other contacts, or just the one? Would it be possible for you to send screenshots of the saved contact with the correct dialling code and the confirmation showing the incorrect dialling code?
