5G outage Malahide

5G is unavailable in Malahide Marina since mid-June 2025.  The support desk said it is a power issue.  They cannot predict when it will be resolved.

Thanks Niall.  DM sent.  I was told earlier that 2g and 5g are up on the mast but 4g is down with no ETA.

Hey @John_56294 , thanks for the PM you sent me, I have checked the masts in the area and I can see that there was an unplanned outage however this should now be resolved.

Thanks for checking Niall.  However, it is still not working.  I am getting 10MB on speedtest compared to almost 500MB in the Three shop.

Thanks John, since the services have returned in the area have you tried restarting your phone to create a fresh connection to the mast?

Hi Niall,

Yes, it is a broadband router.  I restarted it a few minutes ago.  My last test was just 5MB.  I know the router and Sim are okay because I tested them in the shop.  The service was great here up until about 4 weeks ago.

Thanks John, if you are continuing to face the issues with your broadband I would recommend contacting our dedicated broadband team on 1913 who will be able to troubleshoot this for you.

I did contact them but they refuse to troubleshoot the problem because the broadband is not at my postal address.  Even though it has always been at this address and worked for the past 9 months, they refuse to help.  I don't know what recourse I have at this stage.
