Nice scam on Revolut at the moment for people selling items.
You put item for sale, and someone agrees to purchase and location agreed
The buyer arrives ,ask the usual questions about item.
Then they say they have no cash or Revolut but can do a Hailfax/ Uk banking app transfer.
They let you put in your Revolut details into the app and do the transfer.
Now here the clever bit
They tell you to search in Revolut for "Inbound Transfer locator"
This is the scam, any details you enter will always be valid, as this is just an estimator tool for all banking transactions, NOT your transaction in particular
So the buyer has gotten your item without paying for it
So Sellers beware
