Tronsmart Studio Wireless Speaker Review
Having reviewed the Tronsmart Force 2 Portable wireless speaker from Tronsmart before I was looking forward to trying out their Studio Wireless speakers.
The Tronsmart Studio Wireless Portable wireless speaker comes in a stylish box like the rest of their products. On the rear of the box the main features are listed.

Included in the box is the speaker, a Type-C charging cable, Aux-in cable, User manual, Info about Tronsmart Sound Pulse and a Warranty card
When you remove the speaker from the box the first thing you notice is the weight of the speaker it weighs just under 800g.
The speaker is made up from a Hardened Aluminum chassis that's black and smooth to touch. The front and back grills are also made from metal.
On the bottom is a thick rubber plate that makes it feel very solid on any surface.
On the top are the buttons that are controls for Volume -/+, (long press gives you track -/+), Play/Pause, Power, Bluetooth (for connection mode Bluetooth, aux, microsd or disable bluetooth), Broadcast mode, SoundPulse mode. As well as Leds to indicate battery level ,bluetooth connection, Broadcast mode enabled and SoundPulse enabled.
On the rear is the USB-C connection, the aux-in port and the Microsd card port.
Its dimensions are 206 x 70 x 58mm and even though the IP rating is IPX4 (resistant to water splash) with the aluminum chassis the Tronsmart Studio feels very durable.
Operation
It was very easy to pair with existing devices and if you have an android device the Tronsmart Studio battery level is visible from the settings on it.

Once you have the app downloaded, select speakers and then the Tronsmart Studio, you can see the battery level on the main page and if you press the … in the top right of the screen you have options to update the Firmware, Disconnect or read the User Manual
You can see the information about the firmware.
In the next screen you have options to select equalizers and in the third screen you have options to select the input mode, active Broadcast mode and Power off the speaker.
Sound
In the above picture you can see how internally the speaker is constructed with 4 passive radiators at the back of the speaker , 3 drivers at the front to provide 2.1channel sound (2 tweeters and 1 woofer) all wrapped around the aluminum chassis to improve the audio.
The SoundPulse mode gives the audio a great boost and adds more bass to the audio which adds more depth to the audio.
Tronsmart uses their SoundPulse DSP technology to keep the sound clear and stop it from distorting at higher volumes. When connecting via Bluetooth I found that most of the time I had the volume at 20-30% provided enough volume using the Sound Pulse equalizer.
It is good having the companion app to set your own equalizer that you prefer.The two passive radiators deliver sound with bass. I found the bass really kicks in at lower volumes.
The Studio also supports an Aux-in, which you can take advantage of using the supplied 3.5mm audio jack cable but I found that Bluetooth gave a better connection compared to the aux-in.

Battery
The battery is rated for over 15 hours of playtime at 50% volume level. And it supports fast USB-C Charging that goes from 0 to 100% in approx 3.5 hours to charge the 2*2000mah batteries inside the speaker.
There is an Auto Power Off mode which powers off the speaker automatically after 15 minutes if it’s not paired with any device through Bluetooth or does not play.
Other features
Another feature is the TrunConn Mode mode which allows you to sync sound across 100+ speakers.
As it has a microphone you can use it to answer calls, the speaker quality was great but the microphone input was a bit low so it was a bit hard to be heard when speaking.
Voice assistant is available by pressing the SoundPulse button for 2 seconds but only when using your phone's bluetooth connection and when your phone is unlocked .
