Today I could not send text messages but I could receive them. After a bit of troubleshooting I found that having VoLTE enabled it's the problem. Turning it off let's me send texts again. VoLTE is a new feature that just appeared on my phone under mobile network settings. It's anyone else having the same issue?
Hi @Bri2 how are you this morning 😊 VoLTE is a new service which is currently been rolled out to all our customers. In order for VoLTE to work, you will need to have a compatible phone and your services need to be updated. Once we have updated your service on our end you receive a text confirming, have you received this text? Are you still experiencing difficulties? For more information on VoLTE click here 👍
How do I get the text confirming? I am using Samsung S21 FE which support volte and wifi calling but I don't see the option to enable them on my phone.
@jogger Hi there & welcome to the 3Community. I've checked & both VoLTE & WiFi Calling hasn't been activated for your model of phone yet. If you click on the link Stacey gave above you'll see a list of phones that are currently set up for both services. When your phone is added to the list you'll be sent an automated text from Three to let you know.
