Disable Google Voice on HTC Desire 620?

How do you disable Google Voice? I couldn't access the keyboard to type texts etc. Ended up doing a factory reset to solve the problem. Very frustating. Surely there must be a way to do this?

Hiya, did it become deactivated after you did the factory reset?

Yes.  But the annoying thing is I don't know how it got activated in the first place, and then I couldn't turn it off. When resetting the phone I even had to speak my PIN to start the reset procedure.

Is there a way to revert to keyboard mode without having to do a reset?

I'll have to look into this for you. You will probably have to complete a factory reset to reset the keyboard mode.

An app called "HTC Sense Input" was disabled. Must be enabled for keyboard to work, otherwise only the voice input is available for text input.
