Unable to deliver to recipient- competition line

For the last 2/3 months I’ve been unable to text or phone competition lines. I get a reply saying unable to deliver to recipient. I’ve contacted 3 care & they advised there are no bars on my account. Any help appreciated, thanks!

I'm having the same issues as mentioned in this thread. Can you help me try to resolve them?

I'd be more than happy to assist you here, is this related to a competition number or a similar premium rate number like in the original users post? If so pop through to me here on PM along with the affected number, your full name, mobile number, address and date of birth and I can check the account to see if there is any bars on the account that would affect you texting these numbers.

I also can’t text to premium numbers? Tried deleting thread. Can I get help please ?

I'll also need you to let me know have you ever been able to text premium numbers and if you have when was the last time you could successfully text one? What error message if any you're getting when you try? What number you're trying to text and when was the last time you tried? And what's the make and model of you're phone.

Is this happening specifically with short code competition numbers or with any number that you are messaging? I'd love to look into this further for you, pop through to us here on PM along with your full name, mobile number, address and date of birth and I can check this here for you. 

 

 

I am also having the same issue and can’t send a text to 57557. Can you help me resolve this?

I'd love to help you with this, @Lucy_60874. I'll need a little more info so that I can see what our first step will be. What error, if any, do you get when you try to text 57557? When did you first notice that you're not able to send the text, and did anything change recently, like a new phone or SIM? Lastly, can you please let me know what make and model phone you're using?

 

I have this same issue. Message sendings fail. It was working up to a few weeks ago. I didn’t change my phone in that time. I tried deleting message thread but no luck.

the message won’t send so it comes up with the “not delivered” error. It was roughly a year and a half ago when it didn’t work and I’ve tried a few times since and hasn’t worked at all. The first few times I tried I would have been using an iPhone XS but last year I got an iPhone 15 and it’s not working on my new phone either. No change in sim. It’s a number to enter a competition so I’m not sure is it that my account hasn’t my date of birth on it to know 18+??
