3 billing not working again

Hi, wondering if anyone can help? 

 

Trying to pay for books on Google play store, not accepting 3 billing. I did the usual removing 3 as a payment option, however it now won't let me add 3 back as a payment option, only a card or PayPal.

I managed to find a solution that fixed the issues (for my account anyways).

Hopefully it may help you/others who encounter the same problem.

 

Issue 1: 3pay billing option disappeared / Unavailable as a billing option.

Solution 1: Clearing the "Google Play Store" app "Cache" & "User Data" made the billing option reappear on my phone.

Issue 2: 3Pay billing option could not finish setup due to "SMS verification could not be sent" error.

Solution 2: Go to phone "App Permissions Manager" and make sure the "SMS permission" is enabled for "Google Play Store" app.

 

This worked for me, now everthing works perfectly again.

Hopefully this works for you to.

Is there any ETA on when this will be resolved? 

@Sweetcaroline I've just received news that progress has been made on this. And 3Pay/3billing is on it's way back. Can you let me know if it's working again for you?

Thank you for replying. No, it's not working for me. It's not appearing on the play store for me to add as a payment method

Hi,

Sorry to disturb you.

 

But, I have been having the same issue for the past few weeks.

3Pay option is unavailable.

Not even a selectable option.

 

Like @Sweetcaroline I tried removing 3Pay.

But now I don't even have the option to add it back.

Just Credit/Debit card & PayPal.

 

Talked with google support for almost an hour this morning.

They INSIST is notting to do with their end of the service.

 

Also, called 3 support twice today and they both said they couln't help either.

 

Tried restarting devices.

removing/re-inserting SIM.

Nothing works.

 

Don't know what to do now.

Any help you could offer @Three_Deborah would be greatly appreaciated.

@Anonymous I'm collecting examples of customers who can't access 3Pay on Play Store or App store. Will you send me your details in PM? I'll need your full name, number, address and date of birth.
